Social Advertising is now live with NEW features available
Starting June 4: Hootsuite Social Advertising is available for everyone! All plans have access to social advertising features within the Hootsuite dashboard.
We’ve been steadily making improvements to Social Advertising, from bringing the magic of OwlyWriter AI into Ads Composer to giving you additional Auto Boosting capabilities and more.

Homepage UX/UI Improvements
We’re making UX/UI changes to our platform, starting with some changes on our homage such as a personalized header and a "Create a Post" button that takes you into the composer right away.
Meta Lead Campaigns in Hootsuite
You can now publish Meta Leads campaigns using your instant forms! Click to create a Facebook ad campaign, select "Leads" as your campaign objective, and select the “Instant Forms” conversion location. Click “Create ads” and the instant form you’d like to use.
Increased character limit for TikTok and Facebook
We’ve increased the character limit for both TikTok and Facebook pages. You can now pour your hearts out using up to 2,000 characters for TikTok and 63,206 for Facebook.
Compare Post Performance in Analytics
You are now able to compare your post performance with our brand-new feature: Compare Post Performance. You can select up to three posts to compare side by side and review their performance. It's now even easier to review your top posts at a glance without adding any extra columns.
Improved Report Templates experience
We improved our Analytics Report Templates with cleaner cards and a new page instead of a modal. This makes it easier to navigate through all the Report Templates.
LinkedIn Repost on Amplify Mobile
Amplify users can now leverage our LinkedIn re-sharing capabilities on the mobile app.
Share data includes only live posts
We have updated "shares" in Amplify analytics to reflect only "live shares" and not "scheduled" ones. No more tricking the system to get on top of that leaderboard.
Discord and Twitch Apps now available!
We have two new logos in our app marketplace! You are now able to monitor your Discord and Twitch channels in Hootsuite. Check them out in our app directory.
Upload up to 20 images to your LinkedIn post
We have increased the limit of images users can post from nine to 20 for both company and personal profiles.
Single-sign on access to Talkwalker
You are now able to log into your Talkwalker product using your Hootsuite login via single sign-on, meaning you need just one login moving forward. To get started, visit your navigation on the left-hand side of your dashboard, select My Other Products, and then select Talkwalker.
We’ve made organizing easier in Inbox 2.0
You asked, and we listened. From giving you easier access to creating your individual saved inboxes to revitalizing how you sort and view messages, it’s all here in the updated Inbox 2.0 experience:
Access all your saved inboxes: Find all of your saved inboxes including All conversations and your messages organized by: Not assigned to an agent, Assigned to me, Assigned to my teams, and Resolved.
Customize inboxes for your needs: Create inboxes by filtering by Channels, Conversation types, Post types, Topics, Teams, or Contact groups. Or, by whom messages are Assigned to. Click here to get started and select your filter, then name your saved Inbox.
View your New and Pending messages: Easily switch between your New and Pending message tabs—and never miss a message again.
Sort your messages chronologically: Easily view your conversations by newest to oldest, and vice versa. Or, use the Bulk resolve button to select messages at scale.
Optimize captions in Composer with OwlyWriter AI BETA
Imagine having a great editor at your fingertips. We’ve made that possible with OwlyWriter AI Beta in Composer. To get started, select your social network, add your caption in Composer, and then select OwlyWriter AI from the three stars next to your emojis and hashtag suggestions. OwlyWriter can double-check your spelling and grammar, update your tone of voice or call to action, and give you recommendations to optimize the length of your copy. It’s all here!
Tags are now available on mobile
In the Hootsuite mobile app, you can now add tags to posts. This means when you view analytics on desktop, you can track the success of your content published from both desktop and mobile. To get started, compose a post in the mobile app and add a tag.
Respond to messages on LinkedIn pages in Hootsuite
You can now respond to direct messages received from LinkedIn Company Pages in Hootsuite. To get access to direct messages, you must complete these steps on the LinkedIn site. After you’ve done this, re-authenticate your LinkedIn company pages in Hootsuite by visiting My Profile > Manage Accounts > Teams > Social Networks > Profile Settings > Reconnect with LinkedIn. Still can’t the LinkedIn DM option in your inbox? Reach out to your account manager — we can enable this for you.
LinkedIn repost in Amplify
Amplify Content Creators can now leverage LinkedIn re-sharing capabilities. You can now directly send posts from Linkedin in Streams to Amplify. We already support this for X and Facebook, and now it’s also available for LinkedIn.
Add a PDF to your LinkedIn posts
We've got some good news — you can now share a PDF in your LinkedIn posts. Create a LinkedIn post, select PDF as your media type, and post now or schedule for later. Posts with PDFs will show up as carousel posts.
Build first response data reports in Inbox 2.0 Analytics
We've brought back the ability to build first response and overall response data in Inbox 2.0 Analytics. To view these tables, visit Analytics and select "Add metric," then select the Inbox 2.0 tab, and then your specific response metric from the search bar. Visit our help center for more information.
Add and edit your videos directly in Hootsuite
Edit your videos quickly with our new built-in video editor in Composer and Ads Composer. You can now also find your videos in Composer, Ads Composer, and Planner right from your favorite apps, making it even easier to collaborate (in and outside of Hootsuite).
Custom link preview and UTMs per network
You can now customize your links and UTMs on a per-network basis. Please note that each social network’s limitations still need to be followed, and only LinkedIn and Facebook pages allow custom link previews. However, you can customize UTMs for all social networks.
WhatsApp integration
We’re adding WhatsApp to Inbox 2.0. Users are now able to connect a WhatsApp phone number, transfer WhatsApp numbers to their Meta business account, and manage WhatsApp channels in Inbox 2.0
Amplify hashtag suggestions
Easily add suggested hashtags to your Amplify posts directly in the Amplify composer. Hashtag suggestions are generated based on your text and uploaded image(s).
Updates to navigation and sorting in approvals
With easier navigation, you can now find and action on your approvals with a cleaner, easier-to-use view. Quickly access approvals by status and sort to find what you need in just a few clicks.

Get notified about important Inbox 2.0 activities
Business and Enterprise plan members can find and action on Inbox 2.0 activities in the Hootsuite notification center (in Hootsuite, select Notifications). Get notified when you or your team receives an assignment, there are new conversations, a conversation's status changes, and more. You’ll see a red dot in the notification center when there’s a new notification.
Track your Amplify engagement on mobile
View your Amplify shares and how you rank compared to others right from the Amplify Leaderboard in the Hootsuite mobile app. You can now view the top 100 users based on the number of shares in the past 30 days.
Get better social insights
In Hootsuite Insights, you can now compare up to 10 saved searches instead of five. Plus, you can search and view public Facebook accounts to get insights and see conversations relevant to your brand.
Changes in Composer to help you easily schedule Instagram Reels
In Composer, select the Instagram accounts you want to publish to and then select whether you want to create a Post or a Story. If you add a single video to a post, it will publish as a Reel.
Add a WhatsApp account to Inbox 2.0
If you're new to Hootsuite, you can add a WhatsApp account to Inbox 2.0. When you add a WhatsApp account, your team will be able to receive and respond to WhatsApp messages alongside your other social media accounts. If you're an existing Inbox 2.0 Business or Enterprise customer, please reach out to your customer account manager to add your WhatsApp account.
Bulk actions for mentions now available in Insights
You can now change sentiment, add a tag, or delete multiple mentions at once in Hootsuite Insights.
